Montie Gear is Transforming into a Lean Manufacturer

Designing and making products is something we really enjoy at Montie Gear.  We serve you (our customers and our vendors) by pursuing manufacturing and operations excellence.  What does “manufacturing and operations excellence” mean?  Operations excellence means that you receive exactly the product you want quickly.  It also means that our vendors get paid on time.  When this happens it is a win-win-win for you, Montie Gear contributors, and our vendors.  Lean is all about continuously working to eliminate the 7 wastes

1. Defects
2. Overproduction
3. Transportation
4. Waiting
5. Inventory
6. Motion
7. Overprocessing
